iPads at VIA

This guide applies to all students who wish to gain access to and use VIA's it-services from an iPad. The guide gives a short description of whether it is possible to gain access to VIA’s it-services, just as it will be described how to gain access from iPad.

Is it possible to use VIA’s it-services from an iPad?

Print

If you have a valid VIAcard and if you have money deposited on your card, you can print from an iPad on VIA's printers.

Since you normally do not have documents on an iPad, the print is URL print where you type in an address from an open web page.

Money deposited to your VIAcard

Is it possible to deposit money to my VIAcard from an iPad? Yes, this is possible.

VIAmail

Is it possible to read my VIAmail from an iPad? Yes, this is possible.

You can either choose to read your VIAmail from the Outlook Web App at Office365 at the address http://post.via.dk or by letting your iPad collect your VIAmail.

Itslearning

Is it possible to access Itslearning from an iPad? Yes, this is possible.

You can either access Itslearning at http://itslearning.via.dk and then logon using your VIAmail address (xxxxxx@via.dk) and your password. Chrome is the best browser to access Itslearning.

You can also download the Itslearning app from the App Store. The Itslearning app contains all the essential features of the web edition. To install the app, follow the instructions. You must select VIA University College and AFDS as your login. Remember to turn on notifications and calendar to take full advantage of the app.

VIA Studynet

Is it possible to gain access to VIA Studynet from an iPad? Yes, this is possible.

To gain access to Studynet just type in the address https://studienet.via.dk and afterwards your VIAmail address and your password, this will bring you to Studynet.

There might be some functionalities that are not optimal on iPad.
