How to find your timetable

This guide is directed at students at VIA and gives a brief description of how you can find your timetable.

Timetable in Itslearning

Itslearning is VIA's Learning Management System (LMS). Everything related to your programme or study will be made available here It is here including your timetable, subjects or courses, your study plans and much more. All the teaching and learning resources, you need for your study will be made available to you by your lecturer through Itslearning.

  1. You access Itslearning on itslearning.via.dk. To log on you have to use your VIAlogin (e.g. 123456@via.dk) and your password.

There is also an Itslearning app that yopu can download to your phone where you normally get your apps. Note however, that the app does not show all the things that you are able to see using the web version when you access Itslearning via your browser.

  1. Choose Calendar in the menu to see the events from your starred courses. It is therefore here you see your schedule with time, dates, room and lecturer information.
  2. If the lecturer has provided details about the activities planned for each teaching session, you can access this by clicking  on the icon in the lower right corner on each event. Here you can open the relevant teaching materials and resources linked to the class.

Note: It is only starred rooms you can see in the calendar in the app. Get an overview of all of your rooms by choosing 1) Home or 2) Courses and the all your courses.

Access your timetable via skema.via.dk

The content of the timetable is controlled by the timetable planner

  1. Logon to skema at the address: http://skema.via.dk
  2. To logon, fill in the following information:
    • School name = viauc
    • Username (Bruger) = your VIA ID without “@via.dk”
    • Password (Adgangskode) = your VIA password

After login – do the following:

  1. Choose the week you wish to see in the calendar in the upper right corner.
  2. Click ”Timetable” and ”Classes”.
  3. Write the name of the class in the field ”class”. (When writing the name of the class, your choice of options will narrow down).
  1. Scroll down on the list until you find your class and press ”Enter”.
  2. Use the calendar to change to other weeks.

Changing the language in skema

If you want to change the language in skema, you can do so after you have logged in.

  1. Click on your profile in the upper right corner. Some entries will remain in German language.
  2. Click the pull-down and choose language.
  3. Click Gem to save.

Note: You need to choose English GB if you wish to use English as the language as the GB version has the correct week numeration.
