The premise of VIA’s printing solution
Your print account is automatically credited with DKK 300 every year in April and November.
We recognize that printing needs may vary across VIA’s many different study programs. Therefore, it is acceptable for your balance to go a little into the negative, provided that printing and copying are used responsibly.
VIA provides printing and copying free of charge for printing and copying self-produced materials related to assignments and presentations during your studies. This includes papers, projects, posters, and drawings.
If you are printing on behalf of one of VIA’s student or social councils/committees and need additional credit beyond the standard quota, you can contact VIA Service at viaservice@via.dk to have extra credit added to your account.
Please print in black and white whenever possible. Use color printing only when absolutely necessary to highlight important information or enhance visual understanding.
It is assumed that digital work is prioritized as much as possible. Therefore, it is expected that compendiums and other reading materials that are or become digitized are used in digital format and not printed.
In cases of misuse, the individual user may be held accountable for consumption that violates the above principles.
Printing or copying that violates VIA’s Copydan agreement is strictly prohibited.
Additionally:
- Only choose color printing when it is critically important.
- “Measure twice, cut once” proofread your document before printing, preferably multiple times. If there are errors in the printed version, only reprint the corrected pages.
- If printing on behalf of a group, you can transfer credit to each other via print.via.dk.
