How to print on thick paper or special paper

This guide equips you to print on paper thicker than 90 grams, but max 300 grams.

Regarding printing on special paper, it is important that the paper is suitable for printing on a copier/laser printer and that the weight does not exceed what the machine can handle. It is also important that the print settings and copier are correctly adjusted to the paper being used.

Previously, it was a requirement that only paper purchased from VIA’s store was used for printing. Now that VIA no longer operates the store, it is your responsibility to ensure that the paper you print on complies with the above. If the machine is damaged by printing on paper that is not suitable for the machine, you may be held responsible for any damage that occurs to the machine.

NOTE! It is not possible to perform double-sided printing on paper above 160 grams.

Print PDF files to ensure that the document looks correct. Open them in Acrobat Reader or Adobe DC.
